Dr. Ingmar Andrea Hernandez is dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care to her patients. Raised in Orlando, Florida, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University. There, she was honored with the Endodontics Department Award of Excellence for her outstanding performance.
Following dental school, Dr. Hernandez completed a general practice residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She then practiced as a general dentist in Cape Coral, Florida, where she deepened her clinical expertise before specializing in endodontics.
Dr. Hernandez completed her advanced specialty training at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. There, she earned both a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. She subsequently achieved board certification by successfully completing the rigorous three-part process administered by the American Board of Endodontics. Her research has been published in the Journal of Endodontics, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Hernandez is known for her gentle approach and dedication to saving natural teeth. Outside the operatory, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with her family.
